Export Situation Briefing?

Post by 76mm »

Is there any way to export the Situation Briefing, either in XML or txt format? It contains lots of scenario info in a compact format, so it would be very useful to be able to export it. I looked in the manual but didn't see anything about it, so thought I would ask here.

Tom if you go into the Editor and save the file as an XML file, all the text is included in the top portion.

Alternatively, open the editor and click Edit and then Briefings and then Scenario briefings and then you can copy and paste it somewhere else.

A Scenario Dump will also include the Briefing.

Sorry, but I'm not looking for the Scenario Briefing, but the Situation Briefing, which is what appears before each turn as lists all of the various values included in the scenario. ie, this:

For some reason, some of the values reported in the Situation Briefing are not properly exported into the XML .gam files--for instance theater recon, air & rail capacity, etc, so I am looking for another source to scrape this data from and then re-insert it...
