No night battle in 43 campaign

Eagle Day to Bombing of the Reich is a improved and enhanced edition of Talonsoft's older Battle of Britain and Bombing the Reich. This updated version represents the best simulation of the air war over Britain and the strategic bombing campaign over Europe that has ever been made.

No night battle in 43 campaign

Post by panzerp »

I loaded the new 1.06 patch and started the 43 campaign as the germans. Played 3 turns and each time it completes the day turn fine but completely bypasses the night bombing.

Thought it may be something with my save file so I just reloaded a new campaign but the same thing happens.

Any idea why ??

In BTR the AI won't dare launch night raids until the moon something like less than 3/4 full. In BoB it's more or less the opposite since direction finding was not really developed enough.

ok, so it is normal to have no night raids through the first 4 days of the 43 campaign?

I just don't want to commit a month of game time to find out the nachtjagd portion isn't working.

Thanks for the quick response

Yes, watch the moonlight number and the moon rise/set times. The RAF prefer low levels of light to attack. It took around 10-12 turns in my current campaign before the first night raids although about 7 is not unheard of.
