when scroll map game frozen[solved]

I had several years TOAW4 without any problem beside some crashes.
Today when i run the game, it opens but when I click on an arrow key to scroll the map and frozen. I can still move mouse but I cant click on any item or counter or do anything. Any suggestions?

(yesterday windows 10 automatically updated, it would be crazy if it is related to this...)

I can see playback, or even see how the Computer moves its counters on first turn, but after that, when I move a single unit or try to scroll the map with keyword arrow, it stops.

I have also checked that the same problems occurs now with TOAW3. However, other games are running without troubles. Is it some thing related to windows 10 update?

**I solved the problem by rolling back the windows 10 to the previous version before the windows December 2020 update**

Awesome. Thanks for the report. I wonder if that means that newest W10 is not ready for TOAW, or vice versa [:(]

I am using the newest Windows 10 and have no issues what so ever with TOAW III or TOAW IV or a host of other games.
