Black hexes

Is this a glitch or part of the gameplay ? And how to fix it ?

whats your game version ?
what's your graphics hardware and driver used?
Does this black get away if you disable the weather overlay?

Game is 1.12.59
Removing the weather overlay won't change. I just tried a new solo game and disnt have the black hexes.
This is my first PBEM game with WITW. Black hexes didn't appear on my previous solo games.
So as it's a GC PBEM game, I cannot just decide to restart a new game ...

My GPU is Radeon RX 580 and my driver is 27.20.14501.28009 dated 12/4/2020

And Now I'm thinking about it, I have a second PBEM running, "Torch to Tunisia" and I have the same problem. So it seems it appears only (?) in PBEM. Havent noticed it in my previous solo games nor just now, as I said above, when I just tried a new game as a test.

I know this is no help, but I've never seen that before. I've only played one PBEM game, but don't recall seeing that happen in it.
