Silly newbie question

Due to a very attractive Christmas offer, I decided to go for CWIF although it was not planned right now (WITPAE being already painful enough for anybody having some social life [:D]) and never player the boardgame.

My idea was to take care of it in the more or less far future, but of course I couldn't resist having a look.

Before facing the tricky rules, I noticed two "issues" that I would like to get confirmed (or did I miss something) :
- Half-map scenarii not available
- No PBEM in the game mode options

Correct, half map scenarios currently not yet enabled. The developer has announced, this will happen in the near future, after the remaining optional rules, deemed to be worthwhile, are coded. So my understanding of the current development plan is:
1. remaining optional rules (at least most of them, others no longer planned to be implemented)
2. half map scenarios
3. start coding AI

Yes, PBEM is not explicitly listed in the game mode options, but the game can be comfortably played by PBEM by sending the .gam files between players by email or messenger.

There are no "silly newbie questions". The MWiF manuals do not work as they ought: You put them under your pillow, sleep on them, and you still don't know them [:)]. So ask! Others might be interested in the questions, too.

P.S. Some of the games in the AARs are PBEM. You can look there to see how PBEM works.
