Need help with some abbreviations

Gary Grigsby’s War in the West 1943-45 is the most ambitious and detailed computer wargame on the Western Front of World War II ever made. Starting with the Summer 1943 invasions of Sicily and Italy and proceeding through the invasions of France and the drive into Germany, War in the West brings you all the Allied campaigns in Western Europe and the capability to re-fight the Western Front according to your plan.

Need help with some abbreviations

Post by Novaliz »

There are some abbreviations I can not find via the search function in the manual:

1) CAP = listet under air missions
2) cup = when assigning a new HQ

Give me a screenshot of where you see CAP.

CUP is the number of subordinate on-map ground units, including HQ's. It's cumulative. So 21st BR AG will have the combined total of 2nd BR Army and 1st CA Army.
