Morale Question

Post by VonVolks »

Just a quick question. Is morale treated the same for both sides i.e. US / Axis?

Or is it different per force as in something like Squad Leader?

Also when a battle ends because "Both sides exhausted", what are the conditions for that to happen?

The overall morale level for both sides (Axis and Allies) are tracked separately, if that's what you're asking? Individual Axis and Allied soldiers with the same experience and morale ratings operate under the same rules / checks.

'Both Sides Exhausted' occurs if both sides overall morale falls to less than 50% with neither side yet below the 33% 'morale failure' level.

Thanks Steve,

I meant to see if the different sides suffer directly in terms of Morale loss...

EG if a US players loses a command team, does it affect morale the same as if a German team loses a command team? Or A VL or a tank, etc? i.e are the rules that affect morale the same for each side?

But I tihnk you answered that and said the rules are all the same for both sides regarding morale?

That's correct - the rules are the same for both sides. The main factor is the troops initial morale and experience levels.
