Lockheed Ventura

Eagle Day to Bombing of the Reich is a improved and enhanced edition of Talonsoft's older Battle of Britain and Bombing the Reich. This updated version represents the best simulation of the air war over Britain and the strategic bombing campaign over Europe that has ever been made.

Lockheed Ventura

Post by Johntxic »

For sake of completeness, maybe this light bomber should be available to 2 Group RAF? It equipped at least one squadron in July 1943.
The Nazis entered this war under the rather childish delusion that they were going to bomb everyone else, and nobody was going to bomb them. They sowed the wind, and now they are going to reap the whirlwind.

That discussion was had earlier when we got the go-ahead to add two new aircraft to the game. The Ventura was considered but given it was no longer a frontline aircraft by the end of summer 43, it was decided not to use it. Plus as you say it only equipped one squadron. No point.

Any ship can be a minesweeper, once.
