crash on scenario, 3840x2160, 2560x1440 worked

I crashed to desktop after i picked the scenario. 3840x2160
I tried several other screen resolutions and found that 2560x1440 worked.
Now after picking a scenario it asks for a saved game directory and enters the game.

Yes is did install that the direct x stuff during the install.
I am launching from the desktop icon

Any other tests i can run for you

got the dxdiag, dont see how yo attach it. Is there an email i should send to.
High end Dell. running 2x monitors. Main monitor is HD normally set for 3840x2160

There may be several ways to change resolution.
I am right clicking on my desktop and selecting the NVIDIA choice and changing it

Do you need a DXDIAG at the higher malfuntioning resolution?

Yes, that worked.

I made your change to the properties. (It helped if i read it carefully and made all the changes )
I changed back to my high res,
and loaded my saved game from low res and it works.
