WitE2 Team, can you share how many purchases were made? Even an approximate number? Are you happy with the results?

Absolutely zero chance Matrix will release commercially sensitive information like that but good effort

Congratulations! For what it matters, the guarantee of a Steam key at a later date was a big factor in the day 1 purchase for me.

I'm tactical wargamer at heart, though I have the original WITE, WIW and I couldn't pass on the opportunity to get WITE2. Something new to learn and enjoy, in this crazy Covid time.

Just curious, what's a War in the East player's recommended tactical PC games?

I did and with no experience of the predecessor games I am so overwhelmed at the complexity that I feel like a drooling moron. The sheer complexity of the game was evident to me via a couple of late beta videos, although I had hoped to be led and propped up like the noob baby I am and in this regard it was a little disappointing the training videos were not included as per the manual. However, I accept that the community will inevitably step forward to produce some video tutorials and in the meantime will follow what is already there and accept that I will probably have to burn a lot of hours to get a basic grounding in how to play the game. Anyway, it just feels right to support this product, even if it takes me a while to actually play it.

I was going to but I don't think that my HP is up to it! It looks like some of the high end machines are having problems? It's hard to make a program that will run perfect on any machine!
