Please post a DxDiag for us.

Also, were you referring to the settings page on the launcher or in-game? Could you post a screenshot of just before it crashes?

I don't know what is a DxDiag.

Can't put a screenshot because forum don't allow a simple lightshot print.

Sorry, this will guide you on how to get a DxDiag:

https://www.matrixgames.com/forums/tm.asp?m=4987555

I'm not sure what a lightshot print is, but if you took a screenshot and have it saved as an image, then click the big orange "Post Reply" button in the bottom left below my reply, then click on the small "Click here to Upload" link which should allow you to upload most common image formats. Alternately, you could e-mail it to me at erikr@matrixgames.com

The dxdiag produce a giant text or info. Do you want me to paste it here?

The game crashes when, after launching and saw the initial images of war, a screen appear with options to choose, such as human/AI player/side and difficulty.

After choosing the options, clicking the cros in upper right crash the game.

Please add it to your post the same way as for the image above, using the Post Reply then the Click here to upload! link to add an attached file.

The X in the top right on the main screen is actually how the game is meant to be closed. That's not a crash. In order to play you would need to click on "Pick Scenario", then choose your Battle or Campaign, then click on the "Load Selected Scenario" button to start playing.

How to get a DirectX Diagnostic file:

1. click on "START"
2. click "run"
3. type in "dxdiag" and click "OK"
4. check through the tabs and perform all tests
5. click "Save all Information..." and save the text file to a location of your choice

We prefer that DxDiag files be posted as message attachments rather than pasted into the body of the post.

once the report has been made, just attach it to your post as it's a Txt file which is then permitted to attach to the forum.
