Artistic choice question

Hey devs and wargamers! I am just getting into WitE 2 and liked WitE 1 but am wondering why the devs chose to use the super blurry pictures again for generals and equipment? This seems like a strange decision, and many players must agree, as there was a mod for WitE 1 that changed them. I hope a mod pops up soon to change the images because they drive me insane!

Do you remember where that WitE 1 mod was or what it was called?
WitE2 tester, WitW, WitP, CMMO, CM2, GTOS, GTMF, WP & WPP, TOAW4, BA2
