Event outcome "Winter War" always the same?

Fury Games has now signed with Matrix Games, and we are working together on the next Strategic Command. Will use the Slitherine PBEM++ server for asynchronous multi-player.

Event outcome "Winter War" always the same?

This time i wanted the game to be "historical", so i would prefer SOV to win the winter war. But even when i cheated and reloaded the save 12/19/39 (where you can choose to send the allies to aid finland or not) i found out that the outcome is the same all the time.

Is there no way to change this other than to restart the campaign?

Yes, the outcome is hard coded into a game once it has been begun, so only restarting will have a chance of a different outcome.
