Missing preference buttons

Eagle Day to Bombing of the Reich is a improved and enhanced edition of Talonsoft's older Battle of Britain and Bombing the Reich. This updated version represents the best simulation of the air war over Britain and the strategic bombing campaign over Europe that has ever been made.

I think that AA gun button is only there when playing axis, but I could be wrong. If you scroll over the target and let the info window pop up it will show you if there is any HAA or LAA present, you also probably need to have recon on that location to accurately know if there is AA there or not but that I am just assuming.

I understand recon bit but the 'just there with AXIS' not so much. Not so much the target that's important but flak concentration of flak on the route to it.

I don't play defence very often so I could be wrong but I believe flak can only be present at target icons (Not just your actually target to be bombed) or the rail flak batteries. Both of which you can see as the attacking player by scrolling over the icons. When I set my routes for a mission I check any icon the path will potentially cross over to see if there is AA present at that target icon. I general avoid flying over target icons period as there is a possibility that there is flak there that I haven't reconed. Also I never over fly built up areas on the way to a deeper target as there is very likely to be concentrations in those areas.

The button just highlights if a flak gun is at the location, whether it is a single 20mm or a battery of 88's so it's not really helpful for the attacker side. You need to recon and then you can mouse-over your possible routes to see the flak in place. Without recon you have no idea what is there and even if you do have recon it can still be erroneous.

The AI is constantly shifting flak around to some extent too so beware of that.
