Do you feel lucky?

Post by Berserk »

I just closed my first PBEM game with a Decisive Victory over a veteran, so:

All you have to ask yourself is: Do you feel lucky?

Well du you, punk

Dirty Harry.

He counters a robbery against a diner, and having gunned down a number of guys with his .45, he leans over a guy lying on the floor.

When the robber makes a gesture indicating that he is considering to reach for his gun, DH utters one of the most famous lines in any action movie (beats Arnold any day) ....

....."I know what you're thinking. Did he fire six shots or only five? Well, to tell you the truth, in all this excitement, I've kinda lost track myself. But being as this is a .44 Magnum, the most powerful handgun in the world, and would blow your head clean off, you've got to ask yourself one question: Do I feel lucky? Well, do ya punk?"

I bet a whole world of fun quotes is lost on the poor Germans seeing as they have German voice-overs on everything. Or at least they used to ;)

not quite right. i remember the line. it´s cool.

i remember, too that b.willis and chuck norris used cool speakings in older action movies "invasion usa, delta force, die hard...).

and mostly i like the german translation more than the orig. voices. i have english versions of "blade runner", "a thin red line" and "the good the bad the ugly"...and the german speakers have better voices IMHO. which fits the characters better than the orig. ones IMO.

How about:

Me : US
You : German

SPWaW 7.1 or H2H

Everything on except C&C
10% artiellery

If you feel lucky (or just hoe to be the first one that defeats me in PBEM:p) lets start a pre-set scenario if you have one -- or I will generate one randomly.

I have slots 3, 4, 7 available
