Hi all,
Just posting some wishlist/QoL updates that I've noticed that could be useful.

1. Having production for country show up on the main status screen. Would help inform (un)garrison duty.
2. Additional (programmable if possible!) hotkeys, such as for reinforcement priority. Also for production/convoy. Perhaps the F1-# keys could be used for that?
3. More tooltips top remind of not obvious or possibly mix-uppable rules: oil use for navy doesn't include shooting, oil use for air movement is 1 oil per move but different for attacks, etc.

Wish I could refund it, just can't get into Warplan Pacific. The artwork and map just isn't appealing.

This mainly.

Tooltips for unit's specializations would be nice.

Maybe the possibility to shuffle through the units that have done nothing this turn, it's pretty hard to forget nothing and shuffling through all the units is pretty long at the end of the turn.

I hesitate to post a multiplayer challenge. As an absolutely newbie I wish it would be possible to comment a challenge to tell what one is looking for (newbie or advanced opponent, grognard, turn rate etc.). So something like a comment box on the PBEM++ server, not only for Warplan but all Matrix Games would be nice.

Thanks for suggestions. Some I can't change like the key bindings because I didn't think about it with this code. It would be too time consuming to do and create a whole new series of bugs.

It would be nice to have a highlight on the countries with deployements ready on the deploy window, I check all of them when the button highlighted to be sure I do not miss any.

NEUTRAL OBSERVERS...

When playing multiplayer games a way that others could load the game in its current turn as either side and see what you or your opponent sees.

Great teaching tool...though not sure this is possible.

Most of my suggestions will increase the game difficulty.

-- Admirals.
-- Better control of convoys. Allow the player to stop or alter supply route convoys. Having them go to areas that are lost and losing MM because you cannot stop the convoy route is frustrating.
-- Allow the user to upgrade port sizes.
-- Allow the user to create supply depot stockpiles.
-- In regards to Hex control, instead of changing color which is hard to see, use a small appropriate flag.
-- Better counters that differentiate between enemy fleets with CVs and fleets without CVs.

Last and not the least of all....
Complete integration with WarPlan Europe. (Hey, it is a wishlist after all).

You can stop convoys. But altering routes would be very difficult. Would need more convoy routes on the map and that would be a LOT...

You can click the checkbox in the convoy box and it will disable convoys going on that route.

This only applies to the trades you create as far as I know.
Let me give you an example.

Late 1941, early 1942. The UK is losing Merchant Marine units to Japanese convoy hunters sitting on the South China Seas route. As UK I created one convoy to Australia. That is the only route I created and the only one I can disband. I assume the China Seas stuff is supply going to Borneo.

I am losing Merchant Marine as the UK to a route I do not want to an area that I can not defend and is lost.

More (if possible, happy to wait until christmas):
1. Being able to click on map while in production or other screens screen
2. Scrolled down the units list being kept when clicking out of the screen
3. Some sort of commander's report export equivalent of gary grigsby games. It'd be nice to be able to look at all of my production numbers at one time.
4. Screenshot export of whole map at any given zoom. Stitching images together is hard work!
5. Jumping from clicking on-map battle site to the actual battle in the combat log. Currently have to dig through the list every time.

Please update the manual. There is a lot "copy and paste" from the old WPE manual. It is irritating to see examples with Italy and Germany in a game focusing on the PTO. And sometimes there are some contradictions regarding the rules. For example, the old rule for naval stacking is in the manual (9 groups as a limit, Page 38)but in another chapter you can find the rule that is in fact valid for WPP (Page 76). With the sub stacking (3 groups vs. 5 in WPP) is it the same.

Hyperlink the turn report locations so that clicking on the report centers the map on the location.

It would be really, really nice if we could have a reconnaissance layer toggle to see where ships definitely are not. Currently doable manually but not fun.

I wished this in Europe but really wish this in pacific, when you have a big fleet stack and want to only move a few ships a deselect button would be great! so we dont have to manually unclick all but a few ships, and i wish lock shift key button would come back

Already exists. Check your fleets for a button at the bottom to deselect all ships. Also a button to select only subs.

Also already exists. Turn on ease of access in options. New buttons show up on the top right of the screen including lock shift.
