DEC 605 (Germany)

Post by OldCrowBalthazor »

I had a complicated Axis gambit in an MP match designed around DEC 605. When July 1941 came, I never saw this DEC pop-up. Is there a random roll that happens that decides if the DEC comes up or not for the Axis player? I talked with a few other players about this, and they said they have never seen it either in-game, yet its in the Strategy Guide as imaged here. :))

Hmmm. Never seen that one either. I guess with a front in South America it really is a world war now.

It has a 50% chance of firing once the conditions are met, but it does require Peru being totally neutral which might the real issue, because if Peru is leaning towards one side or the other then it won't fire.

It might be better if it is set to fire if Peru has a pro-Axis leaning.

Bill,

That would be a good idea..a wee bit of diplo involved..some wining and dining with cash under the table and big promises on embassy row in Lima haha.

Yeah..in the current MP match I'm doing (which is on YT btw). Peru is totally neutral...and when July 41 came and went..no DEC showed, leaving my 'you know what' in my hand...ahem.

Well..ok. With this version 50% is the rule..kind of like flipping a coin. That makes preparations for such an expensive and risky gambit even more insane [:D]
