Pbem not loading

So the loading bar goes all the way to 1945! Couldn't see that before. It's cute. Please let us know when it's up.

Let me know by the morning if it is still not working. No reason not to this was tested in Beta and has been working since release.

About to head into work, PBEM games still stuck at connecting to server at 8:00 GMT+1. I haven't tried a new game so not sure if this is an issue with ongoing games or with everything.

All of Matrix Games, the forums, the servers, the manual typing of license keys... all of it stuck in the 90s.

I know it's wargaming but even they have to get with the times.

Is it logging in or uploading games?

If someone can start a fresh load of WPP and try the multiplayer till it gets stuck then post this file it would help.

When I try to upload the file I get a message from the forum saying it's an unsupported file type. I've uploaded it to a pastebin if that's still useful.

It's the loading of the save that it gets stuck at, logging into the multiplayer seems to be fine. The years just keep cycling forever on this screen.

The error says the data in the file is in the wrong format. Which is impossible because I didn't change the data structure.

I tried reinstalling and rolling back to patch 1.00 which didn't work, then updated back to 1.00.01 still with no luck. No idea what could have caused any change, everything was working fine until last Wednesday afternoon.

Does anyone here have a working PBEM game going so I know if it's worth my trying other options to fix it from my end. Since I haven't got any turns sent from my other games I'm guessing it's an issue that's effecting everyone though.

I have been able to do 1 turn today with a PBEM game. Running v1.00

I have tried to update, but I get an error message.

So the issue was happening before the patch then.

I need to ask so I don't spend hours combing through older versions of the game.

Also there is no beta version so no one had that either.

I'm sure it started happening after the patch although I remember sending one turn after updating to 1.00.01. It may be an issue of people who haven't updated sending turns to those that have or vice-versa.

Would anyone who has updated to 1.00.01 mind joining a test game to see if we can load turns in it?

Let me know I have to pick up my kid. be back in 30m. The patch shouldn't cause this as there were no changes in the game data structure.

I just updated to 1.00.01 and see your game out there and accepted it. (fyi,I'm still waiting for turn from our other game).
