Specific altitude requirements for tac bomber rocket attacks?

Post by cato13 »

when i watch the air battles on full detail all i see is hurricane bombs target.

Does that mean the same thing in games terms or should it say rockets fired at target or something?

The altitude doesn't change what ordnance a plane uses, that is determined on an individual squadron basis. When selecting and opening the details of a squadron there is information on their current loadout and you can click to change it.

I am not very familiar with the full detail battle resolution but I think it uses generic language like bombs target instead of loadout specific language like drops mine, fires rockets, strafes target. So if your squadrons have rockets equipped and it says hurricane bombs target, it just means they have delivered their payload (in this case rockets) to the target area.
