Port supply for naval groups?

Hi, I am wondering why I have not received any supply for one of my Battle group sitting in Darwin? The manual says that the port size number is the amount of ships that can resupply however there is only one battle group that is not at full supply and it has been several turns. Can someone explain this? Even in basic supply they would receive a supply stockpile would they not?

Ports size 5 or above can supply any number of ships. Below that, example a port size 1 can only supply 1 ship. The port doesn't supply 1st the fleet that is out of or lowest supply.

A picture would help. Also with supply layer (S hotkey) toggled on. Your supply to the port might have been interdicted.

Please see attached pictures. Sorry for the small pics as it would not let me upload a large file. I tried to recreate the scenario with Darwin but it is receiving supply there. The port in question is derby now (port size 2). The prince of whales has had 2 unit supply for the last three turns and it is the only group that is not in full supply. Why is it not receiving any unit supply. I was under the impression that you can receive supply on all minor ports. Note: *No supply interdiction*

Ah okay so what gwgardner says is exactly correct. Supply applies for the first (port size #) of ships in the list. It’s probably ordered CV>BBBC>CA/DD>etc. so the PoW wouldn’t be serviced.
