Combat screen question

Hello people,
I can't find a way to reopen the combat screen after i close it in my turn and to see the combat screen on AI attack, it is possible?

I don't think there is a way to reopen the combat screen (the one where the fighting goes on) after you close it, nor is that screen available when looking in the history to see the combat that went on there.. I'd really like to have the 2nd feature available.
