Nemesis scenario

Post by JGerhard »

Does anyone know if this scenario from WITE can be played with WITE2 or if this will be updated for WITE2?

There's no scenarios from WITE you can play in WITE2 unless they ported over. That scenario isn't in WITE2 and no idea what future scenarios they have planned, other than what they've stated publicly. I know there might be a Winter War/Continuation War Finnish Front DLC in the future.

Nemesis is not an official WitE1 scenario so you'd have to ask the modder.
WitE dev team - (aircraft data)
WitE 1.08+ dev team (data/scenario maintainer)
WitW dev team (aircraft data, partial data/scenario maintainer)
WitE2 dev team (aircraft data)

I think it was one of mine. No plan to redo in the foreseeable future.

It was a 'What If' Campaign written to see what could be achieved with the editor and imagination. Although the Soviet side was unchanged the Axis side was considerably different. This included the new Army Group Northeast, adding in 20th Mountain Army and a more balanced approach with most higher formations having similar structures. However at the start other than in a couple of occasions (e.g. 91 Luftlande Div) no new units have been created early without compensating reductions elsewhere (e.g. LSSAH & GD at Div strength at the expense of Motorised Bdes). Additionally German AFV and Arty production was completely reworked with a more 'efficient' model with a number of new vehicles and corresponding changes to TOEs. The Axis Allies were much more involved.

We COULD create a team that could integrate old scenarios/short campaigns from WitE & WitE to WitE2 ones. If we had enough people sub teams (1 or more people) could take on one or more tasks (Main, Units, Air Groups, Locations, Leaders, TOE(OB), Ground Elem, Aircraft, Device & Nat/Weather) in order to make the required changes to make the scenario/short campaign work. There would have to be some play testing. Some tasks have higher priority and have to be done first, but it IS do able. Of course we MIGHT have to wait for the game editor to get opened up so we can edit EVERYTHING. Just my thoughts.

Sounds like a fun challenge!

Would anyone have a link to that Nemesis scenario for WitE 1? Either way, thanks!
