Did they hit one of their own mines? Sabotaged by the Mossad? Hit by US forces? Or just have some sloppy on-board fire safety issues? The world wonders - but there will be lots of theories and accusations floated!

The most dangerous things in the Iranian navy are their three Kilos. Everything else is pretty old, except for those pesky speedboats.

Hmmmm. I guess in light of this event, Gulf War III: The Wrath of Kharg won't be gracing movie theater screens anytime soon.

Not just this ship but an Iranian F-5 fighter had its ejectors seats malfunction. The two crew members were ejected - up to the roof of the hanger that the aircraft was in.

The ship was 40 years old, this was Iran's way of decoing her.
