Can you help me with the editor?

Post by Sputnikod »

I am trying to make a scenario to learn a little more.

I have a series of problems that I am not able to solve.

I have managed to put airplanes in an air base.

In this case, F35 and 707 tankers.

But I am not able to assign them the combat load and thus be able to assign a mission...

Have you tried looking at some the videos on Command? https://www.bing.com/videos/search?q=yo ... &FORM=VDRE

not able to assign them the combat load
1. Select base where aircraft are - press ctrl+f6 (or press aircraft button on unit status screen)
2. Select one or more aircraft you want to assign the same loadout too just like in normal gameplay mode.
3. Press Ready/Arm button just as you normally would.
4. Select the loadout you want.
5. If you want enable quick turnaround (and it's available) check the box for it.
6a. If the loadout is gray'd out because you didn't add munitions yet to the base magazines press "Ready Immediately - ScenEdit Ignore Magazine" button at the bottom.
6b. If not gray'd press "ok","ok-Ready exclude optional weapons", or "Ready Immediately".

The window will close and the Air Ops screen should now update with the assigned loadouts for each aircraft.
You should now have no problem assigning them to a mission from that screen or alternatively from the mission editor screen.
