Oh no Tamas not another one of those 200+ replies threads that keeps everyone on the edge of their seats until the end and reads like a war novel full of suspense!:p
But really, you should post more images in the future. I'm sure there are a couple of other lazy people out there who are just unable to check the map every time for city names
I'm also about to begin a Possum game as German to test my new house rules. So I'll be excused please if I end this post with a very biased

Clear
This week minor german forces tried to break through our strong defence. After great counter fire they ran back to their momies:) To be cautious, and to avoid the death off innocent german infantrymen only obeying orders, we backed back a bit from our borders. We except turmoil in germany, and the fall of the nazis in 1-2 weeks.
No losses.

Following the orders of our supreme leader Hitler, our forces continue their drive into the interior of the eastern bolshevik empire. The plan to destroy the frontier armies before they can retreat appears to be mainly successful as opposition this week was much weaker than on the frontier itself. We are prepared to end the campaign in 6 weeks, with only mopping up to do after that.

You press Print Screen on your keyboard while you're in the game. Then you go to Paint and get Paste from the Edit menu. Then you can draw lines, save as jpeg and whatever else tickles your fancy

I would have 4 questions, which will show my inability at this fully:
- What is the Print screen key?
- I don't really understund the paste from edit menu... Is it copying from somwhere?
- What is Paint?
- Where can I get it?
Sorry for bothering:)

Aaaaaaa....
-Print Screen is up right on the keyboard, near F12
-It copies automatically to the memory the image on the screen so that you can paste it
-Paint is an image editing program that comes automatically with Windows
-You can find it by pressing the Start button, then going to Accessories->Paint
Here, I can only explain it better if I'm allowed to use images!

I made a mistake I think. It might work. Just how do I get to this screenshot in the memory?
The Print Screen button (on most US keyboards next to Scroll Lock and Pause if that helps identify it) copies an image of the screen to what is called the clipboard, used for copying to and pasting from in Windows. Also, using Shift, Control and Alt (on US keyboards anyway) will copy variations of the screen to the clipboard, including one that does the active window only, etc. In WIR, these keys have no impact.
Once the picture or other data is copied to the clipboard through print screen or copy for other stuff, then in can be pasted into most other windows programs. The paste can be done through the Edit-Paste menu commands or Control-V will do it also.

Attached is a map from the start of the week, before our crushing attacks.
For the week, clean up of bypassed Soviet units, fleeing the frontier, were the center of most of the fighting. In front of our marching soldiers appears only smoke left as the Stalinist hordes destroy everything as they retreat faster than our soldiers can move forward. It appears that the war has been won in 2 weeks, even faster than der Fuhrer planned.
Axis/Soviet
74/3159 Squads
0/456 AFVs
1/920 Guns
9/0 Planes

He played Axis in our first game, way back when. I think he has just taking a liking to the "poor little tank armies" that caused me so much grief.
This week, there was no ground combat as the Soviet forces had fled out of contact. The panzers, knowing the power of the massed Soviet tanks and planes, advanced slowly and cautiously.
Axis/Soviet
0/50 Squads
0/17 AFVs
0/21 Guns
5/0 Planes

Thanks for the picture!:) Tamas, how come you're so russophilic and play the Soviets so much? I thought Hungarians didn't really like the USSR:D :p
Well we don't like the USSR at all... But playing them is fun: if the soviets die I enjoy it (as I don't like them), if the germans die I enjoy it as well (as they are the enemy)
