A brilliant idea that I would like expanded

Post by DavidDailey »

Unfortunately, my hand tends to rest on the mouse and sometimes it is pushing on the clicker. My bad. The new idea of having you confirm your choices for new units is a godsend for me since I have often clicked on a unit I don't want while I am contemplating my choices. However, in a game I am currently playing a decision appeared and my heavy hand clicked on something I definitely didn't want accidentally. I wish a choice could be offered so that you could confirm your choice in a decision event. Just askin'.

Thanks David, I've made a note of this to consider as a possible future change/addition.

May I suggest that if you do add a confirmation click, can you make it an option? Otherwise all the rest of us will have to click a confirmation 10 million extra times a game just because David has Hands Of Stone. [:D]

Agree completely. I don't want to click twice on every decision.

Agreed, if we do it, it would be similar to how it is now an option in the Purchase Unit screen.

Bear in mind, Hubert, before you make a decision that decision events do not occur "ten million times a game". They occur relatively infrequently, but are vitally important. One accidental misclick can have catastrophic, often game altering consequences.

I'd like to get rid purchase confirmations. Just extra clicks to aggravate the carpal tunnel.

I have a very nice wrist brace that I bought online. I think it was only $12 or so.[:)]

I'd like to get rid purchase confirmations. Just extra clicks to aggravate the carpal tunnel.

This can be done now with the latest patch, for all three games, as seen below:

Note, the 'Confirm Purchases?' text is not appearing properly in game for now, but this is what it is supposed to say. The text appearance will be fixed for the next update.
