Stal to Berlin, Soviet Issue?

Not sure if this is the right place, but noticed an issue in the initial set-up for the Red Army for Stal to Berlin.

"Sapper Squad" is produced from 41 through 3/1943, and is a "Labor Squad". However, almost none are deployed to Red Army at-start. Only 16 Arborne units use this device.

"Assault Sapper Squad" is produced from 4/1943; however, nearly all Red Army units use THIS device at-start. Even though they are "Engineer Squads", not "Labor Squads", and are not in most unit TOE at scenario start, they are deployed to 296 units. Reds can't produce any.

Not sure if this is WAD.

Follow-Up on this: Turn 2, many units are swapping out Assault Engineer Sappers for Engineer Sappers, which is basically a downgrade; but that puts it back to where it's supposed to be. Strange

This is indeed a data issue to be fixed by the scenario designers. Made an internal report for them.

Looks like 16 airborne brigades sitting in the soviet reserves using a 1941 OB.

All Assault Sapper Squads removed from StB as they are not available until 4/1943.

They were replaced by the Engineer Sapper Squad ID #733 (which is a Labor Squad) as required by the respective TO&Es.

There are no Sapper Squads in StB either ID #800 as no TO&E calls for their use.

Change effective in Comp Update after 1.01Beta.
