Confirming: Bombing Paris Area Heavy Industry Doesn't Score VP's?

Gary Grigsby’s War in the West 1943-45 is the most ambitious and detailed computer wargame on the Western Front of World War II ever made. Confirming: Bombing Paris Area Heavy Industry Doesn't Score VP's?

Post by cfulbright »

Can someone please confirm that bombing the Heavy Industry sites in and around Paris doesn't score the Allies any victory points, at least as I read the Living Manual which says Strategic Bombing VP's are for "German Nationality Heavy Industry". Is there any benefit to the Allies bombing those sites?

I've been bombing them for several years because they were juicy targets within easy reach of England.

yes, HI outside the Reich gets you nothing. The only VP targets (other than the v-weapons) are fuel and oil so its not a bad idea to take out those small clusters in Eastern France when you feel you can spare a raid or two.

of course flattening the Paris railyards is an excellent idea [;)]
