How do I adjust waypoints when planning raid?

Gary Grigsby’s War in the West 1943-45 is the most ambitious and detailed computer wargame on the Western Front of World War II ever made. Starting with the Summer 1943 invasions of Sicily and Italy and proceeding through the invasions of France and the drive into Germany, War in the West brings you all the Allied campaigns in Western Europe and the capability to re-fight the Western Front according to your plan.

To change the waypoints for both outbound and returning:
1. First set your target hex AND your staging base. If you change waypoints and then reset either of the first two, it will undo your custom waypoints.
2. Left-click on the current waypoint, and the top of the two diamonds will turn red.
3. Left-click on the desired hex for that waypoint.

To change returning waypoints:
1. RIGHT-click on an existing waypoint. If you do this correctly, the BOTTOM of the two diamonds will turn red.
2. LEFT-click on the desired hex for that waypoint.

It takes a lot of practice to do that second type of change, because the impulse is to do a left-click on the first step, or repeat the right-click for the second step.
