Any way to recover a password from a PBEM game?

In the past you used to be able to ask Matrix Tech Support for help and they would have someone find it. But Matrix stopped any official game support several years ago and AFAIK has not provided that type of support since. Others who had the same problem recently had no luck and had to restart their game.

Of course the lesson is that such passwords should be written down somewhere - say on OneNote or a similar app.

Perhaps if everyone shared their PBEM passwords with another trusted forumite their opponents would be saved should they up and disappear on them. Does anyone want to be the keeper of mine? It's late in the war and it's bound to get pretty interesting. I can sweeten the deal by giving you my side of a game turn. You'd have to keep what you see confidential though, and no talking about my opponent in the forum. Canoerebel perhaps?
