Version Clash

Due to real life interfering my opp and I had to park our PBEM++ game. When my opp tried to continue the game we hit a problem as we are both on version 1.11 and the save is version 1.08 and won't load into 1.11.
Is there a work around/solution?

Great and all you'll need to do now is download the following file, and then place it in the following folder on your PC. Note AppData may be a hidden folder on your end and you may need to manually type in a portion of this path.

\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\My Games\Strategic Command WWII - World at War\PBEM++\DAT\v1.08.01
