Hi everyone

Post by Alexandra »

Hello SPWAW community! Having just found and joined the Forum, I wanted to say hi, and to echo the many people who have said how great a game this is. I've yet to play over the net or via email, though, so if any of you wanna offer tips, or be an opponent, feel free to give me a yell.

Things are gonna get tuff from now on, so no slackin'. Listen to Sarge, and ya' might make it home in one piece.
Now, grab yer gun and form up. We got a long march ahead, and Jerry's waitin' for us at the end.

Howdy welcome to the war. I prefer online games there is nothing to compare. (PBEM games are too slow for my taste and VCR replay never works for me) Have fun. Have you tried Pac War or War in Russia?

Welcome to the war. You're on patrol tonight. Trot over to the ops hut, Wild Bill will give your orders. Listen to the old sleeves and keep your chin up. Don't smoke on patrol and always finish your breakfast. You'll never know when lunch is.
Enjoy your tea.

Good luck

But I am Image And to combine two replies into one reply post: Mogami, I'd love to play you online sometime. As for Pac War and War in Russia, I've played them, yes, but they're more my husband's style. He's better at large scale strategy and I'm better at smaller scale tactical stuff.

Welcome, Alexandra! You are very lucky. If I could interest my girlfriend in the game, we'd both be a lot happier!

Retreat is NOT an option.
