Strike number/Fatigue and weather

Post by tonyscrase »

STRIKE NUMBER
on the air directive what does the strike number actually mean
as an example I have Recon mission covering 81 hexes. I have assigned 18 aircraft to fly on D1,D3 and D5. The intensity is low
The computer has come up with a strike number of 10. Does this mean every air group will try to fly 10 missions in the week

FATIGUE
I seem to remember in WITW that as a guide you rested air groups with a fatigue level of roughly 50. Is this the case with WITE2

WEATHER
Is it worth the German or Russian player flying in Poor or Very Poor air conditions

THANK YOU

1 - yes, if you leave that as auto the AI determines the missions needed for best effect given the plane allocation, mission intensity and geographical spread, if you impose a number that sets the missions

2 - I've never heard anyone recommend letting fatigue get anywhere near 50, I tend to make 15 my cut off value and often below this

3 - pretty much, no. Between losses, planes not taking part and poor results its a waste of time unless you have a very clear idea what you are trying to achieve
