Have Malaya and Burma be India's minor

Post by KorutZelva »

Weren't most of the troops stationed there from british india anyway? Makes sense that they would share the same tech.

Also makes not having the vice-roy declare war on germany a bit more viable because with the british activating malaya it's a sort of income transfer to India which would help its readiness.

Malaya is Complicated but there is certainly an argument for this theatre having Indian Army units

Certainly at the outbreak the III Indian Corps were at Jitra (North of Penang on this map) and 8th Indian Infantry Brigade were at Kota Bahru

On the retreat south at Slim River it was mostly Indian Units annihilated but also Gurkhas and Argyll and Southern Highlanders fought there

Then Australian divisions made their first contacts at Johore on the South West of the peninisula.

By the time of the Invasion of Singapore Island it was mostly Australians(NW), Indians (N) and British (NE)

Maybe in game its complicated by the decision event

I think the game would work if both burma and malaya were classed as part of India rather than being separate countries

I wouldn't either but having them all part of british india may make the malaya activation cubbersome to program? [&:]
