I've got a bog standard 24" display set to 1920x1080. I like to play in windowed mode so i can easily switch between game and othe stuff, e.g make scrren shot and edit it, access manual etc. Many games do not allow windows mode, many other do but and they work with varying degrees success but 99% of the time but limit you to using preset resolutions often resulting in using one thats too small or when using the native size I.e. 1920x1080, part is hidden by the task bar.
This game gives you the choice of setting you own resolution within a window through the .ini file. for instance I have mine set to 1900x1000 allowing a small desktop strip around the game and with no taskbar problem. It has one small glitch, the window cannot be moved, but I don't need too as minimising works perfectly.
Best use of a display settings I've ever seen, wish all games behaved like this. Forgot to add wiil DW2 do the same, hope so.
