Fortifications

I have read the rules and found none applying to fortifications or entrenchments. Are there any?
Like to see the tough fortifications that US had to face on Iwo Jima and Okinawa on the Shuri Line.

Dont think there are any fortified places on the wpp map in wpe heavily fortified places like Sevastopol, Tobruk, And the Maginot line are represented by fortification symbol on the map, you can observe the defensive effect by hovering over a hex. Minor fortifications like what Japan did on the islands or like what happened all over Europe when fronts stagnated are represented by entrenchment level, if you allow your land units to just sit in a spot without moving they automatically gain entrenchment up to level 2, you can observe your entrenchment level or your enemies by clicking on them
