Here is the version of the PzK Mod for Wego WWII Desert War compatible with version 2.00 from June 2026 for both the Matrix/Siltherine and STEAM versions. The vehicle sounds no longer match the mechanized units once the latest update available on the Matrix website or the Steam version has been installed (this is not caused by this mod—I’ll address it later; changes can be made via the editor) The adaptation for the Salerno scenario will also be available soon (I hope).

This is the new link for DW PzK mods V2.2 : (19/08/2025 - New HQ icons)
I don't put these links for the other Mods (below) because they are made "in options". You are free to use or not (instal w JSGME AFTER the PzK Mods himself)
1a. Replace the Mods (or Vanilla) "in game" music with continuous Battlefield sound, don't forget to increase "in game music" volume option if set on 0 (different of menu music option). INSTALL this AFTER PzK mods !!!
1b. Same with SOFT Battlesound from the Talonsoft series :
2. New colored counters styles (no new units images) made with the Stalingrad files but which respects DW's OOb
3. Salerno Units V2.2 : Install ONLY if playing the Salerno.scn - With Transparency effect -V2.1 (19/05/2025 - New HQ)
Notes :
- Install with JSGME
- V2.2 is complete, no need to install S-Icons Mods after this one
- Salerno units v2.2 is complete, install Salerno Mods ONLY if playing the Salerno.scn
- Install PzK Mods before Salerno units ONLY if playing this .scn and click yes when JSGME ask you to change units
- Install the Battle sound Mods AFTER the PzK Mods (or with vanilla game)
- Install the Counters Mods AFTER the PzK Mods (or with vanilla game)
- Saved games stay ready to use after installation of this mods
Changes in this Mods :
- Units Counters
- Refined some "vanilla" NATO counters that looking bad
- picUnits images in the infobar
- Small icons in extreme zoom out view
- Some cursors
- Music menu and in the game
- Color tonality of the maps
- New look start/options/battle/briefing/wait screens
- Some units mouvements and fight sounds
- Some map icons effects
- Lower click sound

This mods is inspired and made with PzKGold Units, Talonsoft + GG musics and sounds, Punta de Lanza WG Units,...

Do you know if it is possible to assign a particular sound to the movement of a specific type of unit?
