Equipment upgrade test

Noob question (I am just copy-pasting from another thread, as this is the most suited subforum for this question):

I have been playing around with equipment and planes to see how the replacement works. If I add 10.000 Rifle squad 43 in the pool of the 1941 scenario (for Germany), everything works as described in the manual, as after the logistics phase of the 2nd turn, the units in the Reserve TB are now equipped with the Rifle squad 43. Why does the same not happen for planes? I added 1.000 Bf-109F-4 in the pool but no plane ever gets upgraded, even the ones in the Reserve TB. Yet both Bf-109F-4 and Rifle squad 43 are not yet in production/training and in the manual it's stated that AOG will get reinforced with the latest equipment available...

Am I missing something?

Ok thank you! Then I guess this is hardcoded and there is no way to change it [:)]
