A complete overhaul and re-development of Gary Grigsby's War in the East, with a focus on improvements to historical accuracy, realism, user interface and AI.
In the airbase icon, what does rdy/tot mean? the airbase has a lot of ready aircraft so why it is only 59. Also is tot means total? Why is it shows as 0.
In the airbase, with a capacity of 200, there are the following planes: 29 Yak-9D, 92 IL-2M3 and 53 Pe-2. The two first 1 engine, while the last 2-engines planes.
29 + 92 + 2x53 = 227.
227-200 = 27, this is the missing capacity of the airbase for the number planes.
Anyone able to answer the original poster's questions?
- in the airbase icon on the right, the "rdy xx / tot x" numbers don't seem to match up with anything related to the actual number of aircraft stationed at the airfield (Sometimes it's lower or higher than the aircraft numbers, including adding up all ready, damaged and pool aircraft at the field) What does it actually mean?
- also the airbase info in the map popup window shows Airbase name followed by capaicty, Damage, something called "Det" and Fzn. The "Fzn" is obvioulsy related to whether the airbase is currently fronzen or not, but I can't find anything about "Det" in the manual. And it doesn't seem to have anything to do with detection levels. Most airfields have a "det" of 1 but some are at 2. What does it even refer to? Besides this information only shows for friendly airfields, which obviously would have a maximum detection level since they belong to me.
I also would add the game should try wherever possible to use fewer abbreviations in the interface and make generous use of tooltips.

Its a bug. I reported it a few months ago but its low priority so the devs havent gotten to it yet. Just ignore it.
