Displacement moves...how to force them in the right direction

Post by pookiebear »

Are there any specific mechanics?
In the manual it says they cant move within 2 hexes of a enemy unit...but its hard cause they can take many paths and i cant calculate their possible paths
Any tips

the manual says (at least for HQ) basically west for the axis, east for the Soviets, but that there is a random factor. So that really is the limit of your control.

makes sense, this is not meant to be simulating a movement where the unit moves to a wider plan set out by their command chain, its a panic move by a formation that no longer is capable of combat

If there was a Victoria Cross equivalent on these forums then loki100 would probably deserve at least 10 for answering all these queries on all the WITx forums over all these years.

And at least several more for writing the excellent WITE 2 manual.
