Summary (per Air Combat details... verified via Commander's Report)
-----
37x Bf-109F2s vs 3x MiG-3s
losses:
7 Bf-109F2s (2 A2A, 5 OPS)
5 MiG-3 (5 A2A)
Results(?)
-----
37 - 7 = 30 Bf-109F2s
3 - 5 = -2 MiG-3 ???
-----
Could the 3x MiG-3s displayed perhaps be "post-combat" results? (a wild guess to try to make sense of this...)
I really hope not, as I would expect to see consistent numbers that reflect:
* combat strength at 'beginning' of combat (those that actually fought)
* losses (as a result)
However, the way it is displayed, first thoughts that come to mind is "hmmm... (3 - 5) MiG-3s.... how did they end up with negative 2 MiGs ???)

(screen shot for following provided in subsequent post)
I have another Air Combat example (Soviet Supply) detailing:
8x Bf109F-2s vs 0x Yak-1, 30x Li-2s
losses:
1 Bf109F-2 (1 OPS)
12 Yak-1s (12 A2A)
3 Li-2s (1 A2A, 2 FLAK) (note: these Li-2s still tough as nails.... [:)] )
Another combat showing AC losses exceeding those that actually fought. How can 12x Yak-1s get shot-down, when 0 fought?
So, in this case, we have '-12' Yak-1s as a result of this Air Combat, unless '0' is to be interpreted as a 'post-combat' result?
Currently, I have no idea how this is supposed to be reconciled.
