Initialize air units / moving air units in Editor

Post by Karri »

Trying to move the air units around via the map, and this increases travel %. I see no way of resetting the value number, other than "initialise air units" on the main tab. But that just returns all units to original positions. How exactly can I move the air units around?

You may wish to try one of the two methods suggested below -

(a) removing the travel % incurred -

Export [scenario name]_airgroup.csv via the CSV Tab of the Editor. Use any spreadsheet software (such as Excel) to change the figure in the "traveled" column for the respective airgroup to zero (e.g. the number 39600 for the airgroup II./KG 55 in the picture attached). Import the [scenario name]_airgroup.csv back.

(cont.)

(b) directly change the airbase using the "Air Groups" Tab of the Editor

Press the word "Air Base" will allow you to assign a new airbase for the selected airgroup. To resupply the new airbase, I found that sometimes I had to save and reload the scenario again before I could do so. You may see if this is so in your case.
