Al, is this just for esthetics?

I tried to test dropping paratroopers behind the Maginot line but the defenders still get 4x defense, even against them alone.

It is. There are so few fortifications in the game. When I coded WarPlan the data was so large and I was so inexperienced I had to cut corners.

WP2 will resolve this.
