Production: Do I understand?

Post by MarkShot »

So, this is not HOI4, and I do not DIRECT control of what is produced and where it goes.

But I have INDIRECT CONTROL. Production meaning:

* I can decide which basics (oil, resources, manpower, ...) to protect via air, AAA, and ground forces.

* I can decide which weapons factories to protect ...

* I can capture enemy cities producing the basics which will augment my supply.

* I decide where to allocate priority repairs.

So, my war production focus is not so much about increasing capacity, but preventing the loss of it. Increasing where applicable is built into the production system itself.

Allocation meaning:

* I can set command supply priorities.

* I build the supply net and set depot priorities.

* I can set max TOE values.

* I can use the REFIT attribute.

* I can use proximity to depots and depot boost via HQ or rail construction unit.

* I can send units back to the National Reserve TB.

* I can park units on an NSS.

* I choose leaders.

* I create ASHQs.

Do I understand the basic flow and my degrees of freedom of the system?

Thanks.
