Koluft AOG's

Post by Dreamslayer »

Some of these German AOG's at the start of GC seems wrong. They have airgroups that probably has incorrect subordinations or incorrectly placed.
E.g.: Koluft 1-4 PGr, 6, 4, 9.
Maybe it looks like not a big case. But players should to fix it each time when they start a new campaign (again and again they need to spent their time for it). And imagine how this mess looks for new players.

Moving 2.(H)/32 to Suwalki will fix 3 PzGr.

Unless I'm mistaken, the "Koluft" was a Luftwaffe Staff Officer position, acting as direct liaison between the Luftflotte and an Army and would travel with it as part of it's H.Q Staff, so e.g. Koluft 18 would follow 18th Army, Koluft North would follow Pz.Gp North, etc, etc, co-ordinating air missions for it's assigned Army or Group.
You could move each Koluft to an airfield closer to the front before running the first German air phase if you wanted. Any penalty incurred would go as soon as you advance but just keep it in the chain of command.
