Any experience with overloaded stack ponts on hex?

Decisive Campaigns: Ardennes Offensive is the fourth wargame in the Decisive Campaign series. Covering the battles in the Ardennes between December 1944 and January 1945, it brings to life Operational wargaming by lowering the scale to just above tactical level.

Any experience with overloaded stack ponts on hex?

Post by ltmoravcuk »

I have played PBEM game and I realized that stack point issue is not so important as in previous versions of the game. I have tried all the game to hold my stack points per one hex below 200 points. But when I have fought a couple of battle and enemy had stack point around 300 points on one hex even open field and I have attacked with strong Waffen SS units with optimal stack points with mixed type of units (infantry and tanks on maximum AP) from my hex (before I have prepared the target with 3 arty units) his penalty was very low, even units have not retreated. After my experience from DC Barbarossa this option in the game seem to be not so important as in the previous versions of the game. Any experience from your side?
