Invalid serial number

So I registered my copy of Combat Mission Cold War that I've bought from Battle Front.

I have now the Steam key and the Matrix/Slitherine serial number.

I installed the Steam version on my Laptop (windows 11) but kept crashing to desktop every time I clicked on the 'saved games' tab.
Also, I couldn't seem to create a PBEM++ Challenge.

So I installed the game viva Steam on my Desk Top PC (Windows 10) while it didn't crash I still couldn't create a PBEM++ game.

I also have the BFC version of the which also can't create or play an accepted PBEM++.

I've also I tried to install the Matrix/Slitherine version but every time I try to install it says my serial number is invalid. [&:]
I do have the game registered.


Any thoughts?
