AI blowing bridges

Does the AI cheat blowing bridges or did i just a get a streak of bad rolls, the unit blowing the large bridge was a strength of 7 it could happen but this seems very unlikely. It doesn't bother me if they cheat a little to make the game fun. Anyone know?
