UI Suggestion

Ever any thought to upgrading the UI of WiF?
Having the various info screens in their own floating boxes isn't ideal for me anymore. So much wasted space and I can never get WiF to reliably remember my customizations to where they are located on the screen. I finally gave up and uninstalled the game out of frustration.
If I had my choice I'd much rather see WiF be full sized, with the information located around the edges. I can only give examples from games I've played, but Civil War II, or the Strategic Command Series. Those type are my preference just because I don't have to mess with the floating boxes.
Also, the borders of those screens not being "standard" Windows, well windows, doesn't help much either.

Just my 1 1/2 cents. . . .

I think an improved UI would help current players and help new potential buyers who may be scared from the old look of the current game (e.g. the thick window borders).

It may not be an easy fix though (or completely unfeasible) as this game is developed in Delphi and we have to live with the limitations of the technology.
