Combat result reports - enhancement?

Eagle Day to Bombing of the Reich is a improved and enhanced edition of Talonsoft's older Battle of Britain and Bombing the Reich. This updated version represents the best simulation of the air war over Britain and the strategic bombing campaign over Europe that has ever been made.

Combat result reports - enhancement?

Post by Johntxic »

We get two separate reports from each aerial combat - one noting a/c damaged, and another noting those destroyed a second or so afterwards.

Might it not be possible to combine these into a single message? Would speed-up game play.
The Nazis entered this war under the rather childish delusion that they were going to bomb everyone else, and nobody was going to bomb them. They sowed the wind, and now they are going to reap the whirlwind.

Point taken. I changed it to this reporting method because I got tired of seeing the "0 damaged or killed" result mixed in but I suppose it could be improved with a little bit of coding.

Thanks, Simovitch. How about combining both Axis & Allied results into a single message? That would significantly cut down the time it takes to play a Turn.

Anyone else any views?

If it was to be one message it would have to stay up longer... it would take longer to read and I don't want to miss any information.
